Feast of Saint Pius X, Pope

Gospel Reading: MT 20:1-16

Just like a mother's love doesn't differentiate between her children regardless of their wrong deeds, so is the love of God towards us. God's kingdom is meant for every single human being and rightly, all have been called to be a part of it. It's this motherly love and sheer generosity which overlooks our wrongs and reconciles us to him by inspiring us to repent.
Furthermore, we are here not just to make ourselves a place in his kingdom but to bring our estranged brothers and sisters to be a part of it too, and being envious of God's motherly love and generosity shown to those estranged siblings is not a way of doing that.
